The outer life is a reflection of the inner life of faith

by Esther

Our outward appearances (attitudes, expressions, mannerisms and walk that the world sees) reflect our belief system (our inner life, the internal life and law of our faith which we obey towards God that no one sees)

As we abide in the faith and grow spiritually, our outward appearance and walk will follow the pattern of change that is happening to our spirit inwardly. Our faith and obedience to God internallywill bring about the changes in us inwardly first, then outwardly and people will be able to see the strangeness in our outward appearance because it is nothing that resembles the normal that is in the world.

How we see our selves change and so our appearance changes. The things that we used to identify with as ‘selves’ have died. We being dead to world identify with our spirits that are one with Our Creator. We no longer identify with the false images of our selves. We are not familiar with the roles that are of the world and that the world plays. We instead identify with The Kingdom and our spirits seek to be there – our True Home and Heavenly calling – Zion and New Jesusalem, already we are seated in the Heavenly Places God has prepared for us.We are citizens of The Heavenly Kingdom of God. All this that is happening is for that purpose – to make us ready citizens for The Heavenly Kingdom. We must see ourselves in The Truth, we must look to the things that are above. Always and all the time. Only then will we be prepared to enter in. First it must happen in our spirits. First a disidentification must occur.

We are pilgrims and sojourners in the strange world, we are God’s Holy people, His faithful servants, Jesus’ disciples and His true sheep. We are not what the world says we are, or sees we are….. we identify only with the Truth of God’s Word. It does not matter what The World does, or what happens to it or in it, because we are not of it. We shall not be moved if we are not of it. If we are moved then we must be of it.

Our faith will overcome the world – God has promised.
May you be blessed by this message.
